# Your Certificate

Once your requirements are approved, the **Certificate** page holds your
digitally signed proof of verified status for your placement site.

## Viewing your certificate [#viewing-your-certificate]

Open **Certificate** from the sidebar to see your verification certificate,
including your student and academic information, the list of verified
compliance documents, and the reviewer's signature.

## Verifying and downloading [#verifying-and-downloading]

Two buttons at the top of the page open QR codes for your placement site (or
anyone else who needs to confirm your certificate) to scan with a phone:

* **Verify Status** — instantly checks the certificate's validity and current
  status
* **Download Certificate** — downloads a copy directly to a mobile device

  Sharing the QR code lets a placement site verify your certificate is genuine and still valid,
  rather than relying on a screenshot or PDF that could be outdated.
