## What your assigned requirement may ask for [#what-your-assigned-requirement-may-ask-for]

* A completion certificate showing your name
* The course or program name and training provider
* The completion date
* A certificate number or verification information, when available

Upload the final certificate rather than only a quiz result, registration
confirmation, or payment receipt.

## Current guidance [#current-guidance]

Ontario employers must provide information and education to workers who work
with or may be exposed to hazardous products. The education program must cover
labels, safety data sheets, safe handling and storage, and workplace emergency
procedures. It must be developed for the employer's workplace.

Employers must review the instruction and training at least annually and when
circumstances change. A review does not automatically mean every worker must
repeat a generic course each year; the employer determines whether updates or
retraining are needed.

## CareCard validity [#carecard-validity]

CareCard's current catalogue default keeps the certificate without an expiry
date. This does not make training permanently sufficient for every workplace.
Any renewal, updated-course, or workplace-training instruction shown on your
assigned requirement controls.
