Reviewing Institution Access Requests
How to approve, reject, or ask for more information on students requesting to join your program.
When a student, intern, or volunteer requests to join your program, their request lands on your Requests page for you to review.
The Requests page
Each row is one access request, showing who's asking, the institution, campus, and program they've selected, and a status: Pending, Rejected, Info Needed, or Expired. Approved requests move out of your working queue automatically, so they aren't part of this filtered list.
Requester emails are colour-coded to help you scan the queue at a glance — green and bold if the email domain matches your own institution's, orange if it doesn't.

Deciding on a request
Select one or more rows and use the Action menu. The choices available depend on the request's current status:
- From Pending — Approve, Reject, or Info Needed
- From Info Needed — Approve, or send it back to Pending
- From Approved, Rejected, or Expired — Hide only, to clear it from your view

Confirm the action in the Confirm request action dialog. When you act on several requests at once, a progress dialog tracks Total, Succeeded, Failed, and Cancelled counts, with a Cancel Remaining button if you need to stop partway through.
Marking a request Info Needed doesn't remove it from your queue — it just pauses it. Use the student's message thread to explain what's missing, and their request stays visible until you (or they) move it back to Pending.
After you approve
Once a request is Approved, that student's program membership is active and their Requirements page becomes available to them. Head to Verifying Requirements when their documents start coming in.
If you already know who's enrolling before they request access, Pre-Approving Students lets their requests clear automatically — skipping this review queue altogether.
